LaDeeDah
Wearable art, enchanted décor, collected curiosity, and unfettered imagination welcome to LaDeeDah by Linda Lauderbaugh
A little bohemian, a little gothic, and gloriously impossible to categorize, LaDeeDah is the ever-evolving creative world of artist Linda Lauderbaugh. Formally trained in painting, illustration, and communication design at Otis College of Art and Design — with additional studies in France and Italy — Linda has spent decades creating across a rainbow of media, including murals, fine art, sculpture, garden art, commercial displays, recycled-glass assemblage, and wearable art. Her work has appeared in galleries across the country, in publications, and on the Discovery Channel, while her mural commissions have included projects for notable musicians, actors, and entertainers.
LaDeeDah's storefront in The Funky Bazaar manifests that wonderfully restless imagination into a immersive experience filled with one-of-a-kind up-cycled coats, embellished hats, velvet jackets, original paintings, sculptural décor, mystical objects, statement jewelry, and beautifully strange found-object-built treasures. Expect feathers, dried flowers, distressed cement, theatrical crows, shimmering mosaics, mermaids, spell jars, curious creatures, and objects that appear to have wandered in from several fascinating lives at once.
Linda’s work moves freely between the classical and the curious, the romantic and the rebellious. She is especially drawn to recycled materials and the creative possibilities of transforming overlooked objects into something newly enchanting. Every LaDeeDah piece carries texture, personality, humor, and just enough mystery to make you lean in closer.
